Located in the heart of Avoriaz is the Lift Pass office, near to the tourist office. SERMA Avoriaz operates the lifts and lift pass offices for ticket sales in Avoriaz as well as the lift pass office & the lift at the Super-Morzine gondola, Ardent lift and the Prodains Express cable car.
Situated close to the information point and the underground parking this particular lift pass office has been put in place in order to assist all those renting apartments in this popular area of Avoriaz.
The Prodains lift ticket office is at the foot of the Avoriaz cliffs at the bus stop. Ski and pedestrian lift passes are available here.
The Super Morzine gondola (or bubble) is the lift connecting Morzine to Avoriaz from the centre of Morzine.
Châtel is a traditional Alpine village situated at the bottom of some of the most popular, varied and beautiful ski slopes in the Portes du Soleil.

The resort plays host to a number of winter music festivals which take place across the resort and pistes, namely Rock the Pistes and Snowboxx in March. In summer, the Pass'portes du Soleil mountain bike festival is the biggest event for bikers, with the occasional Tour de France stage passing nearby.
