Aquariaz opens 1st of July
A few years in the making, the Aquariaz 2000m² indoor tropical paradise, is finally opening it's doors on the 1st of July. We first mentioned the Aquariaz aqua centre back in 2010 along with other exciting development plans to transform Avoriaz, which included building two new districts consisting of 9 new Pierre & Vacances residences.
Aquariaz is a huge indoor water wonderland that features a fun river that winds through lush tropical vegetation (1570 plants and 183 trees), a slidewinder (a kind of water halfpipe), a paddling pool, a large pool with surrounding climbing walls, massage benches and even an open-air spa heated to 34°C.
This type of water park and the hybrid concept of mixing natural tropical vegetation in mountain surroundings is unique in the Alps .
