Learn to ski or ski-tour to remote off-piste locations with dedicated British mountain guides
These British mountain guides have been based in the Portes du Soleil for over 10 years and can easily show you the very best that the ski domain has to offer in terms of pistes, powder and remote empty slopes.
They aim to offer ski lessons that take you beyond your expectations! These fully qualified and passionate instructors will go above and beyond to make your ski holiday one to remember. They offer several options for experienced skiers that want a little bit more of a challenge.
You can opt to get away from it all, to guaranteed empty slopes and enjoy the peace and tranquillity that going to the back of beyond can offer. Their guides can introduce to the equipment required: ski touring skis, transceivers, shovel and probes.
This six or three hour workshop is for skiers who feel comfortable on black pistes and who are looking to go off piste. A high level of fitness is recommended particularly if you are going to give ski touring a go.
The guides can also spend the day with you to help you navigate your way around the resort. Locate the best runs, coffee shops and restaurants in the Portes du Soleil with their Beyond Borders day. Their mountain guides will share with you their extensive knowledge of the area and for those looking for a little bit more of an adrenaline rush can hunt out the best powder spots off-piste.
