We're in for a very snowy week
After a week of mostly sunny weather, with some clouds rolling in, Avoriaz is under a new snowstorm that will top-up the pistes with a decent layer of fresh snow.
It's probably going to snow pretty much for the rest of the week. As visibility may be quite low and winds very high, we recommend you stay on the lower slopes.

The resort plays host to a number of winter music festivals which take place across the resort and pistes, namely Rock the Pistes and Snowboxx in March. In summer, the Pass'portes du Soleil mountain bike festival is the biggest event for bikers, with the occasional Tour de France stage passing nearby.
