Rock on Snowboard tour opens season in Avoriaz
Torrential rain ruined most of the great snow that we had at the end of last week and we have only been saved from grass green slopes by the fact that last week there was so much snow.
Fortunately the pistes in Avoriaz are in pretty good condition and there is good coverage on nearly all of the pistes. Off piste there are some large patches of rock and earth so it's probably best to stick to the groomed runs for the time being.
This weekend the Rock on Snowboard Tour is in Avoriaz and parties board tests and comps are kicking off the new season.
