The wind has picked up today in the Portes du Soleil but all the new snow has meant that I headed up the hill anyway.
The pistes are all well covered and as long as you stay high the snow is in excellent condition.
There's Ice Hockey this weekend in Morzine and Jazz all next week in Avoriaz.

In summer, the Pass'portes du Soleil mountain bike festival is the biggest event for bikers, with the occasional Tour de France stage passing nearby.
