Great snow all week, yes it's now 2012
What a great week! 2012 has started well with some great snow on and off piste clear skies and the promise of more snow.
The weather closed in as the week went on and although the light conditions got worse the snow got better and better.
The heavy snowfall and stormy weather has caused a few problems. Trees fell down on the road between Morzine and Les Gets and I had to hunt around for candles when the power went out. The avalanche hazard rating has also gone up to 4/5 (not 4 to 5).
Fresh powder though, so I'm not complaining!
