Fresh snow, clear skies & Friends in Avoriaz

Looks like there's already enough snow to ride Arare and some of the locals have been out building a hip in the baby park. The lifts don't open for another four weeks but if we have as much fun as this when they do it's going to be a great winter.

The resort plays host to a number of winter music festivals which take place across the resort and pistes, namely Rock the Pistes and Snowboxx in March. In summer, the Pass'portes du Soleil mountain bike festival is the biggest event for bikers, with the occasional Tour de France stage passing nearby.
