La Fruitière Restaurant
Gourmet restaurant at the Folie Douce on the Avoriaz plateau at the top of the resort
La Fruitière at Folie Douce in Avoriaz serves gourmet regional dishes with a buzzing mountain atmosphere. Burgers include a pulled beef option and the plant-based Le Boyond, plus casual burgers at La Petite Cuisine. Open daily with après-ski entertainment, it’s a must-visit on the plateau.
Located at the top of Avoriaz and accessible by foot or skis, La Fruitière offers a warm and lively dining experience inspired by traditional mountain life. The restaurant’s name recalls the old dairy cooperatives famous for their cheese, and the menu reflects this heritage with dishes crafted from locally sourced Savoie and Swiss produce. Head chef Franck Mischler and his team create regional specialities with a modern twist.
For burger lovers, there’s a pulled beef burger and a plant-based option called Le Boyond. If you prefer something more casual, their cantine La Petite Cuisine also offers burgers. Open every day with two lunchtime sittings, La Fruitière is a great spot to enjoy a gourmet meal and stay on for the famous Folie Douce après-ski with live music on the terrace.
