New Tariffs for Prodains Parking
Parking at the new Prodains bubble might make driving to Avoriaz more expensive
The little poster detailing parking rates and proposed changes to the Prodains car park has caused quite a bit of anger in Morzine and if the plans go ahead then there is likely to be more.
The new Prodains bubble has reduced parking space at the foot of the Avoriaz cliffs and it looks like there are plans to charge for the few that remain. At the moemnt the bus service is not frequent enough to make giving up cars and using public transport logistically practical for a lot of people living in Montriond or Morzine so we'll wait and see what happens but at the moment the news has been pretty unpopular.
