Mountain Biking on Snow - Free Trial Every Sunday Evening
Piste bashers aren't the only vehicles on the slopes at night in Avoriaz - once the pistes have closed you can hammer down them on a mountain bike.
Take the last gondola of the day up and race, bump, slide and enjoy your descent down the snowy mountain on two wheels.
Rustine offer a free trial every Sunday evening from 17:30, just call into their office by the Avoriaz tennis courts beforehand to reserve your place.
If you enjoy it and want to book a longer session, it will cost 50€ for about 2 hours - this includes rental of the bike, safety gear and a guide to take you down - and there will be a nice warm glass of mulled wine waiting for you at the bottom, what better way to end two hours of biking on the snow?
